Clinical Specialist, Infection Prevention

We're hiring a Clinical Specialist to support our Antiseptics product line in the US!

The Clinical Specialist (CS) is pivotal in advancing the vision of Molnlycke Health Care (MHC) and the Antiseptics Division. Leveraging their clinical expertise, the CS supports sales efforts by providing a clinically focused approach throughout the sales process. Building strong, professional relationships drives meaningful change in healthcare, improves clinical outcomes, and contributes to achieving territory and regional sales goals. This role involves a high level of overnight travel, offering opportunities to engage with diverse healthcare professionals and make a broad impact across the territory.

Key Accountabilities:



  • Deliver product-related programs to appropriate audiences and groups that position MHC product usage as outstanding solutions for safe, gentle, and effective infection prevention healing.
  • Coordinate clinical activities with designated Region Manager and Territory Sales Managers to assist in achieving sales goals to improve patient and clinical outcomes.
  • Act as the primary clinical resource for Territory Sales Managers, ensuring that clinical policies and procedures are appropriately implemented.
  • Provide training and support for new hire Territory Sales Managers.
  • Assist with additional training of tenured Territory Sales Managers in the classroom, in the field and at National Sales or Region Meetings.
  • Represent Molnlycke Healthcare at industry tradeshows and related antiseptics conferences



Key Decisions



  • Facilitates the selection and approval of clinical documents to be used by Molnlycke Health Care in educational as well as consultative efforts
  • Serves as a clinical resource in the research and development of new products, clinical trials, and the market launch of new products or services as requested
  • Demonstrates fiscal responsibility in the management of time, travel, and resources related to business



Compensation & Benefits Information:

The salary rangefor this role is $110,000 - $130,000 and is eligible for annual bonusand car reimbursement.

Qualifications & Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Physical Therapy, or a related specialty required
  • CIC, WOCN, AAWM (CWS), CNOR, or IPC board certification required with Certification in Infection Control strongly preferred
  • Antiseptics OR experience required.
  • Approximately 5 -7 years progressively responsible, work related experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the antiseptics industry
  • Strong industry and clinical network preferred
  • Experience in presenting to large and small groups
  • Experience working for a medical product manufacturer as a Clinical resource to sales strongly preferred
