Job Summary

Responsible for transportation of patients and patient related items as requested within the campus. This position is highly customer sensitive, with the customer being defined as patient, patient family, visitor, physician, other departments. Applies Dignity Health Core Values to the performance of every job duty. These Values include Dignity, Collaboration, Justice, Stewardship, and Excellence.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $28.15 - $35.22 (Hourly Rate).

Required Qualifications

The incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of necessary knowledge, skill, and ability:

1) Must be able to ambulate around medical center campus in a timely fashion while moving patients or related items.
2) Must be able to speak clearly and be understood in the English language. Bi-lingual skills appreciated.
3) Must be able to be on feet, walking and pushing for periods up to four hours.
4) Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in a health care setting desirable.

License/Certification
