Job Summary
The Senior Product Analyst provides integrated technology support for a broad scope of business units, projects, and applications including investigating and resolving complex system and user issues, creating complex ad-hoc reports and queries, and leading implementation and enhancement projects.

Primary Objectives
  • Collaborate with business partners and Product Managers to investigate and deliver technology solutions.
  • Plan, execute, and support implementations and enhancements with effective project management and client communication.
  • Provide timely, effective, day-to-day business application support, including complex troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Define and deliver thorough analysis, work flows, process maps, user reference material, end-user training, and other documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead implementation, enhancement, and process change projects in collaboration business partners and Product Managers.
  • Develop full-scope project plans and communication documents, identify resources, budgets, and project participants and recommend the use of additional staff or consultants necessary for project completion.
  • Manage changes in project scope and budget, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Design, create, deploy and maintain complex reporting and automation based on client requirements.
  • Document business processes, workflows, data maps and business models and develop user and procedural guides.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and assist with the delivery of customer training and documentation.
  • Provide integrated system support for day-to-day application and production issues.
  • Provide post-implementation and enhancement support for assigned business applications.
  • Resolve user support issues including bug reporting, enhancement requests, and identification of training needs.
  • Assist with the management and maintenance of assigned business application stack.
  • Decipher, code and execute SQL scripts and stored procedures.
  • Extract file creations and FTP automation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or Logistics or an equivalent combination of coursework and experience in directly related field required
Work Experience
  • 5+ years' experience with business applications that may include MAS500, SFDC, Vilden, TMW, Trinium, Newport, NS5, Business Objects, or BI Tools required
  • 3+ years' experience developing ad-hoc reports using Business Objects, Crystal Reports, FRx and other reporting tools required
  • 2+ years' experience mapping business processes including Sales Cycle, Cost Cycle, Inventory Management, Fixed Assets, Cash Flow required
  • Experience with Web Content Management systems (SharePoint 2001/2010) preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPivot, CSS, HTML, and SharePoint.
  • Fundamental understanding of database-driven applications and open tools/languages.
  • Strong understanding of the requirements involved in the creation of complex process flow diagrams or flowcharts that demonstrate business or system process flow.
  • Ability to analyze and document client/business owner requirements and evaluate feedback.
  • Ability to create detailed and thorough test plans for medium-sized initiatives.
  • Ability to perform fit/gap analysis based on given requirements.
  • Ability to communicate business process parameters to technical resources.
