Quality Control Laboratory Assistant (Summer 2025)

Overview of Position:

Streck is recruiting a Quality Control Laboratory Assistant to join our Quality Laboratory Team this summer. This position will work closely with our Quality Control Instrument and Quality Control testing groups

The Primary Responsibilities include:

• Assist with running hematology and chemistry samples on automated instrumentation.

• Assist in gathering data for improvement initiatives within QC.

• Complete appropriate records and documentation legibly and in a timely manner.

Requirements include:

• At least 16 years of age and enrolled in high school or college

• Ability to work 40 hours per week (8am to 5pm M-F) for the summer period.

• Interests in gaining laboratory or quality control experience

• Strong computer skills

• Attention to detail

• Strong work ethic

Work Schedule:

• 8-hour days - Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Dress Code Requirements:

• Casual - jeans and t-shirt

• Dedicated Shoes

Pay Per Hour: S1

Number of Positions Available: 1

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Medium work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 5 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 5 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
