JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State Extension is hiring an Extension Educator: Energy & Community Vitality. The Extension Educator will develop and teach appropriate curriculum on energy development and the effects of this development on agriculture, economics, and communities. The individual will work independently, collaboratively, and across multiple disciplines to conduct holistic needs assessments, establish learning objectives, develop educational materials, host educational programs and projects, utilize evaluation to measure program success, and develop appropriate impact documentation to illustrate the value and relevancy of quality programming. The Extension Educator will be responsible for growing partnerships, program offerings and publications, funding, and stakeholder impacts. Responsibilities:
This is a limited term position funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of refunding for up to three years. Education and Experience: Minimum requirements for this position include a master's degree and one of more years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
