Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 10+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 8 years of job-related experience. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position Duties and Tasks: As a RF Architect at GDMS, you will be responsible for architecting advanced solutions for Space Satellite Systems, leading an RF team to achieve programmatic goals that can both meet the emerging markets fast pace and withstand stringent physical constraints and environmental conditions of launch and space. You will collaborate with System Engineering to ensure seamless integration, while working with Mechanical Engineers to address thermal management challenges. Additionally, you will partner with Manufacturing to ensure process capabilities are aligned and with Supply Chain to mitigate any potential sourcing issues. Target salary range: USD $191,051.40/Yr. - USD $211,947.60/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
