Therapist- Early Childhood $4,600 Sign-on / Retention Bonus

Cornerstones of Care is a mental and behavioral health nonprofit certified in trauma-informed care that provides evidence-based prevention, intervention, treatment, and support services to help children and families improve their safety and health by making positive changes in their lives. Each year, our team empowers children and families in Kansas, Missouri, and beyond through three key service areas:

• Youth & Family Support - We help youth gain independence through social and living support programs while empowering families with the skills and resources they need to become resilient and successful.
• Foster Care & Adoption - We reunify and unite families while recruiting and providing support to foster parents and youth in foster care.
• Education & Community Trainings - We help students achieve academic success while giving educators the tools to create safe learning environments to improve their students' behaviors and offer innovative learning opportunities to build and improve knowledge in the community.
  
  

We are seeking a Therapist to join our team. Your role is part of a groundbreaking early childhood mental health collective moving forward mental, emotional and behavioral care for birth age through preschool children, families and team members at local early childhood programs. As a part of this early childhood mental health collective, you will support early childhood program team members as they deal with the personal and professional stressors in their life that affect their ability to provide the best support for the children they work with.

• Provide ongoing therapeutic support and crisis management to team members in five community early education centers.
• Develop treatment plans by establishing treatment goals based on data from outcome measures.
• Promotes the agency by ensuring an understanding of program services available for clients; publicizing activities and accomplishments; adhering to a professional code of ethics.
• Receive training in trauma-informed care and other interventions.

• Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or as a licensed professional counselor
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Professional licensure (e.g. LMSW, PLPC, LMFT)
• At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical and drug screening
• A valid driver's license, proof of current vehicle insurance and reliable transportation

Starting Salary: $58,000 - $64,000 (Annually)

Bonus: $4,600 ($2,000 sign-on bonus will be paid on your first check and $2,600 retention bonus will be paid after 12 months of service)
