HR Business Partner/Manager

Purpose: This is 100% on-site, in person position in a friendly, growing manufacturing environment in Buford, GA. Bilingual Spanish.
Responsible for hands-on HR including business partner to leadership, business acumen, balance of strategic outlook with tactical day-today. Focus areas: HRIS maintenance, benefits, staffing/recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, salary administration, employee relations, business partnership, performance management, recordkeeping and training. Provide hands-on day-to-day management of all human resources functions Partners with General Manager to solve organizational and people issues.

Accountabilities:

  • Communicate with employees and vendors to resolve any compensation or benefits issues
  • Oversee benefits and leave administration including enrollment, change reporting, claims and vendor management and renewal
  • Manage staffing and recruiting process, ensuring positive and efficient experience to meet business needs
  • Draft and communicate key messages to employees and is a company ambassador
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding and maintain training records and offboarding and exit interviews
  • Complete compensation and market surveys and ad-hoc reporting as required
  • Lead employee investigations related to code of conduct
  • Organize training, development and teambuilding of local staff

Shared accountabilities:

  • Participate actively in safety program, maintain training matrix, assist with investigations, file claims and assist employees
  • Partner with employees and managers to resolve employee relations issues, provide coaching to middle management and employees
  • Administer OHI and work together with key stakeholders on communication, action plan and follow up
  • Coordinate employee relations and company-sponsored functions including employee events and wellness activities Key linkages & interfaces / most important stakeholders
  • Provide recommendations that enhance performance and business opportunities to business and HR team
  • Key stakeholders VP HR - Americas, General Manager AB Buford MU, Synthetics Operations Director

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent communication, project management and organizational skills
  • Minimum 5 years in HR generalist role in manufacturing
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in matrix organization
  • Excellent computer and analytical skills - MS Word, Excel, PPT
  • Prior experience with HRIS and report writing
