Overview The Social Media Specialist is integral to OSAC's digital communication strategy, responsible for creating and managing high-quality multimedia content tailored to its global security-focused audience. The position works in close collaboration with the OSAC Communications, Programs, Research & Analysis, and Major Events teams to ensure consistent, impactful messaging that aligns with organizational priorities. The incumbent leverages expertise in digital communications, audience engagement, and analytics to optimize OSAC's social media channels and related platforms, contributing to the organization's overall outreach and impact. This role demands a detail-oriented and results-driven professional with a deep understanding of social media strategies, emerging trends, and best practices. The Social Media Specialist ensures content is both strategic and innovative, driving meaningful engagement with key stakeholders and enhancing OSAC's reputation as a leading resource in the global security community. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develop, execute, and manage multimedia communications across social media platforms, with occasional integration into press releases, web content, and other media. PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: * Must be a U.S. citizen with a valid U.S. passport and able to obtain/maintain a minimum SECRET security clearance. ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS: As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
