Description

As the Project Accounting Specialist, you will focus on accurate cross-charge service processing, billing & receivables, while collaborating with senior team members on project accounting, metrics, profitability and reporting.

Responsibilities:



  • Direct supervision of staff operating the preventative maintenance program and projects
  • Direct supervision of staff handling invoicing and accounts receivables
  • Collaborate with finance team using corporate accounting software
  • Oversee the schedule & management of all commercial maintenance agreements and services
  • Management and utilization of Service Titan service agreement software
  • Management and utilization of Service Titan project software
  • Management and utilization of Service Titan booking software & client portal
  • Manage memberships & recurring services for customers
  • Set up projects in the project management system
  • Report job costing and utilization metrics, including but not limited to profit margins
  • Oversee and collaborate on improving all aspects of billing
  • Manage credit/rebill transactions and progress billing
  • Sync financial data with corporate accounting software
  • Reporting and accounting of all work-in-progress


Qualifications



  • Two or more years in post-secondary business or finance program
  • Relevant experience in project management or professional services
  • Exposure to HVAC financial operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to research and collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information and confident in presenting ideas and results to internal team members and senior management.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively, take initiative, work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Well-organized and ability to multitask, prioritize and adhere to meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work in an ever changing rapidly growing company, and eager to learn and grow.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills with strong work ethics.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
