Come Join Mercy Hospital Southeast! RN Operating Room Full Time (40 hrs/wk) M-F, Days (Call Required) Where Nurses Come to Grow! Overview: Mercy Hospital Southeast OR includes: General Surgery, 2 DaVinci Xis, Urology, Plastics, Gyn, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery and Cardiothoracic surgery. Periop 101 through AORN is offered for new registered nurses. Our staff provides a comforting environment for patients that are undergoing a surgical procedure. We work alongside Preop staff, Anesthesia providers, Surgeons and recovery staff to safely provide care to patients needing an operation. As nurses, we train on the equipment being used, proper positioning and prepping of the patient, and documentation of the patient record. There is opportunity to cross-trainand/or advance to scrub or First Assist in the cases as well. Experienced RN Incentives: Up to $7,500 Sign-On Bonus No Contract Required! ASN to BSN Bridging Program to assist in obtaining your BSN (up to $16,000). BSN to MSN Bridging Program to assist in obtaining your MSN (up to $16,000). New RN Incentives: Up to $5,000 Sign-On Bonus No Contract Required! RN Loan Forgiveness Program to aide in paying off your RN student loan debt. Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements. Experience: 1 year of RN experience is preferred. Certifications:Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
