The principal or senior design engineers will plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined teams/design projects while engaged in the planning, design, and construction phases of engineering projects. These positions require travel, with mobility of greater than 25% to client sites in Aiken, SC (Savannah River Site), and Houston, Texas. The possibility to work REMOTELY is available. These are lead positions on assigned projects performing oversight to a specific area and responsible for technical accuracy in project execution in the project phases. *Responsibilities:* Plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design, and construction phases of engineering projects. Prepare and review of calculations, drawings, and specifications relating to seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing analyses and design, and bracing analyses and design. Experience in renovating/modifying existing facilities is preferred. *Required Skills* Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required. Must have the skills and experience to perform calculations for foundations, concrete, and steel structures in accordance with ASCE and IBC. Must have knowledge to utilize the structural design software -STAAD, STAAD Pro and RISA 3D and Mathcad. Must have knowledge and experience applying wind and seismic loading on structures. The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. The ability to obtain and maintain a Q clearance is required. Must have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering. Professional Engineer License preferred but not required. Experience working in nuclear industry and working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, Local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering design is preferred. This position requires travel, with mobility of greater than 25% to client sites in South Carolina (Savannah River Site). Occasionally, trips to client office in Houston may also be required. *Education Requirements* Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering. *** The possibility to work REMOTELY is available.***
