YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting Customer Pickup Coordinator opportunity in our Merriam, Kansas office. The Customer Pickup Coordinator plays a vital role in facilitating the smooth operation of transportation logistics between our plant shipping office and our valued customers. The primary responsibility of this role is to act as a liaison between the customer's logistics/transportation team and our shipping offices, ensuring efficient communication and coordination of pickup appointments and carrier information.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Act as the primary point of contact for communication between the customer's logistics/transportation team and our plant shipping offices.
  • Interface with customers to obtain carrier and trailer information, including Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA), for scheduled pickups.
  • Process and tender Customer Pickup loads for progression.
  • Maintain accurate records of Load Plan Times, carrier information, and ETA updates.
  • Address any concerns or issues related to Load Plan Times or carrier information promptly and effectively.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and providing updates on pickup appointments and shipment status.

QUALIFICATIONS



  • Preferred Bilingual - English and Spanish for verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite including Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Experience with the transportation and shipping industry
  • Attention to detail



SCHEDULE



  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
