Summary: Under the supervision of a lead department faculty member and in coordination with the Development and Alumni Relations teams, the Assistant Director is responsible for the coordination of conferences, speaker series, workshops, career events, competitions, and events including faculty-led events, student-led events, activities such as research symposia, executive-in-residence events, student mentoring programs, Alumni Board meetings and events, and the Senior Advisory Board meetings. The incumbent will be the primary project manager and will oversee the creation and development of programs, the publication of an annual report, and maintenance of the website along with acting as a liaison to the Marketing and Communications team on the promotion of activities and to the Center for Executive Education on managing the logistics of training developed with CEDWC. The Assistant Director will also be engaged in researching and drafting grant and other fundraising proposals. Primary project manager and driver of non-academic aspects, projects or initiatives of the RRS initiative as designed by the Chair and lead faculty. Manage the Executive Advisory Board including updates and meeting preparation, and work with Fox Corporate Advancement and the lead faculty to recruit new members. Collaborate with Fox Alumni Director to advance the Alumni Board and its programs including the organization of a student mentoring program. Develop and produce a RRS Annual Report. Act as the lead coordinator for RRS events and activities including logistics, catering, purchasing, awards, marketing, registration in Destiny One and procurement for: Executive Advisory Board meetings, Conferences, Symposia, and Workshops, Faculty Research Lunches, Speaker Series, Student meetings and events with RRS Board members, Scholar/Executive-in-Residence Manage the logistics of trainings to be developed with the Center for Executive Education. Responsible for providing significant input into selection, termination and performance management of vendors, consultants, and student workers such as: monitoring, assessing and taking corrective action on competency, productivity and performance issues.
