Technician Calibration

Summary of Position/Purpose:

The Calibration technician is responsible for maintaining the Test and Measurement equipment, instruments, and other products used. The goal of the calibration technician is to maintain, monitor, and coordinate the inspection and calibration of all the equipment, instruments, etc. to ensure it operates accordingly and meet industry standard.

* This role's schedule is 3:30p-Midnight (swing shift) *

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:

• Inspect, perform, and document calibration according to TestEquity procedures.
• Generate Requisition Purchase Order to buy products calibration services.
• Ship products/instruments to suppliers domestic and international.
• Manage the information on equipment and instruments through the system.
• Support Internal and external Quality audits.
• Coordinate the calibration of instruments with other departments and suppliers.
• Responding to internal & suppliers queries.
• Open, monitor, and follow up with other departments and or leaders on the status of equipment.
• Tracking Purchase Order and invoices.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in a highly regulated industry and other sectors where accurate measurements are needed and crucial.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
