THE JOB:

The Exhibitor Services Supervisor will provide exceptional service by consistently coordinating with show management, customizing event setups within the Exhibitor Services Software system, processing show management charges, and driving revenue through exhibitor F&B. This role involves direct interaction with customers via phone and on-site, ensuring follow-through on requests and proactively anticipating client needs. All responsibilities will be carried out in alignment with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest's experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING RATE: $23.00 / Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • The Exhibitor Services Supervisor plans, coordinates, and oversees tradeshow groups across five luxury properties. They manage the Exhibitor Services online ordering system to ensure all exhibitor orders are fully paid prior to the event's start
  • This role involves gathering and reviewing essential event details, such as the production schedule, floor plans, order statuses, and property/event contacts. The supervisor maintains the Service Desk at multiple properties throughout the event's duration
  • Traveling between the five luxury MGM Resorts International Las Vegas properties, the supervisor attends required training sessions, participates in meetings (including tie-downs, preconvention, and BEO meetings), and independently oversees tradeshow events within the designated timeframe with minimal supervision
  • They manage, process, and verify the timely delivery and installation of orders, troubleshooting when needed during on-site, move-in, and show hours
  • The supervisor helps maintain accounts and ensures all paperwork is completed according to departmental guidelines, and participates in the training of new Exhibitor Services Supervisors
  • They work closely with exhibitors on menu planning, cost details, and billing, while proactively identifying and solving potential issues
  • Building and maintaining professional relationships with vendor partners, exhibitors, general service contractors, show management, and internal departments, they create memorable experiences every day by embodying respect, accountability, teamwork, excellence, caring, and integrity

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent
  • One (1) year of relevant experience (to include but not limited to) Events, Trade Shows, and/or Hospitality Experience
  • Prior knowledge of guest relations training
  • Ability to make sound decisions immediately without supervision
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
  • Ability to read and write proficiently to evaluate reports, correspondence, and statistical information
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Must have computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel or equivalent, with the ability to type 35 wpm
  • Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
  • Capable of standing and walking for a majority of the shift
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
