Job Description:

• The Nurse Research Consultant serves as a vital resource in advancing evidence-based practice and research initiatives within the hospital.
• This role involves designing, implementing, and evaluating research projects that improve patient care and clinical outcomes.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, the consultant provides mentorship to nursing staff on integrating research findings into practice, develops protocols, and ensures compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
• They also contribute to grant writing, data analysis, and dissemination of findings through publications and presentations.
• This position requires strong analytical skills, expertise in clinical research methodologies, and a passion for fostering a culture of inquiry and innovation in healthcare.

Requirements:

• DNP or PhD in nursing
• Thorough understanding of research process
• Ky RN license
• Publication in nursing peer reviewed journals
• Principle investigator on funded studies
