Senior Technical Fellow - Intelligent Drive Technology

As a Senior Technical Fellow, you will be instrumental in defining and driving the technical strategy and architectural vision for our IDT (AI/ML) systems. Your role will involve leveraging your extensive expertise to innovate, ensure system robustness, and maintain the highest standards of quality. This position requires a deep understanding of AI Frameworks and learning techniques, Service Delivery Platforms, Vehicle Data Systems and signal/data collection, Vehicle and mobile operating systems, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of skilled engineers and architects.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the strategic vision for IDT, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry advancements
  • Innovation: Lead the development of cutting-edge intelligent drive solutions, incorporating the latest technologies and best practices
  • Technical Expertise: Provide deep technical expertise in solutions architecture, AI/ML systems, including personalization & profiling, integration with vehicle systems / value stream solutions, and Service Delivery Platforms
  • Mentorship: Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineering, software development, and product management, to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • System Integration: Oversee the integration of IDT technologies into vehicle and cloud platforms, ensuring seamless operation and performance
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring the scalability and efficiency of solutions
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical and architecture documentation, design guidelines, and standards
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure alignment with business objectives

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related degree field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in automotive or related industries, with a significant portion in architecture and system integration
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., C++, Python, MATLAB), and deep knowledge of IDT systems, AI, machine learning, and sensor fusion
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring engineering teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and stay current with industry trends and the marketplace
