TECHINICAL SUPPORT l

POSITION SUMMARY

Primary responsibility is to answer phones, emails, and ticketing systems responding to technical support issues related to end user computers, applications, printers, jobsite servers, copier/scanners, internet connectivity issues, wireless networks, and audio-visual needs in conference rooms. Also deploys end user workstations. Works with pre-established technical guidelines implemented by the technical support group manager or Director of Information Systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Provide technical support on software applications for all end users on computer-related issues such as antivirus, MS Office, operating systems, and company applications accessibility
  • Sets up printers, copier/scanners, and internet routers and AP's at jobsites and connects users to them
  • Installs operating systems and standard desktop applications when needed
  • Helps with AV needs in huddles and conference rooms
  • Sets up hardware and software necessary to run company training meetings
  • Regular, timely, and predictable attendance is required for this position
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


  • Associates degree or technology-related certificate
  • Two years of technology-related experience
  • A+ certification is highly preferred
  • Windows 10/11 certifications are highly preferred
  • Network + certification is highly preferred


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS


  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, networking technologies, Windows 10/11 operating systems, and printing technologies.
  • Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of employees.
  • Ability to understand and speak English clearly.
  • Ability to install operating systems and replace hardware components.
  • Ability to effectively diagnose hardware problems and resolve issues quickly.
  • Ability to multi-task with multiple demanding issues.
