THE JOB:
The Laundry Manager will support the Executive Director of Laundry in the overall daily operations of the Laundry plant by playing a central role in inventory and production management and managing the full employee lifecycle. The Laundry Manager acts as relief for the Executive Director during their absence, exercising independent decision making related to the overall operations of the Laundry plant.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Responsible for the daily operations and inventory control

• Responsible for the full employee lifecycle including performance management, counseling, and discipline

• Interviews prospective employees and makes hiring decisions

• Prepares work schedules in accordance to production requirements and occupancy

• Assist Executive Director of Laundry in operating and preparing budgets, for the department

• Informs employees of Departmental and Company policies to ensure compliance

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Minimum of at least 21 years of age

• Work varied shifts, including holidays and weekends

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

• Two (2)+ years of relevant experience in a commercial laundry setting

• Bilingual is a plus, Spanish preferred
