Our regional support center provides resources to our hotels for multiple areas including Human Resources, Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Security, Group Reservations, Guest Contact Center, Information Technology, Laundry and Communications.

What Were Looking For:

As the first point of contact for the Career Center, the Talent Acquisition Assistant plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for applicants and team members. This position is responsible for managing the general applicant area ensuring a smooth and organized work flow. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable and passionate about helping others succeed.

What Youll Do:

  • Greet and assist applicants, team members and other visitors, with a guest-first approach, ensuring every interaction is positive and helpful.
  • Manage incoming calls and emails, providing accurate information or routing inquiries to the appropriate team member.
  • Assist in the processing of job applications and on-boarding paperwork through Workday (Loews applicant tracking system) to include password resets.
  • Conduct bag checks to uphold the safety standards and ensure compliance with hotel policies.
  • Manage visitor access ensuring points of entry are secured according to safety protocols and visitors are in authorized areas.
  • Other administrative duties to include electronic and paper file management, oversight of general office equipment, managing supply inventory, creating collateral and disseminating information.
  • Provide administrative support for new hire orientations, to include welcome packets, team member IDs and new hire paperwork as well as other Talent Acquisition events such as job fairs or hiring events.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area to create a positive first impression for all visitors.
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Performs other duties as required to support the successful operation of the HR office and other hotel activities.

Your Experience Includes:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional work experience in a customer service role that includes performing administrative duties.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and/or applications within the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment to include scanners, copiers and printers.
  • Experience with Workday, or other HR systems, preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish or Creole, preferred.
