THE JOB:

Step into the Thrilling World of Live Sports Betting at Mandalay Bay as an In-Play Odds Specialist! In this entry-level role, you'll be at the center of the action, closely monitoring live sports odds, analyzing market trends, and ensuring accurate pricing across all BetMGM Sportsbooks in the USA. If you're passionate about sports, have a sharp eye for detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is your chance to jumpstart your career in the dynamic sports betting industry at one of the most iconic resorts in Las Vegas!

STARTING RATE:$20 an hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Market Setup: Set up daily sports trading markets and future bet types in preparation for upcoming events.

• Live Data and Trend Monitoring: Continuously track live game trends and situations to ensure data accuracy, adjusting odds and prices as necessary.

• Odds Comparison: Compare BetMGM odds with worldwide markets to identify discrepancies and opportunities for adjustment.

• In-Play Decision Making: Make informed decisions on live betting odds based on in-game events and market movement.

• Schedule and Operations Management: Ensure daily schedules and trading operations are executed according to management's expectations.

• In-Play Event Trading: Trade In-Play events for BetMGM retail, adjusting prices as the games progress.

• Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates on market performance and trading activities to In-Play Supervisors and Senior Traders.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Age: 21 years old or older

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent educational experience.

• Sports Betting Experience: Previous experience in sports betting or wagering, with a strong grasp of odds, market trends, and betting strategies.

• Sports Knowledge: Strong understanding of a variety of sports, teams, and players, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Customer Service Experience: Proven experience in a customer service role, with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
