Location: Onsite Tallahassee, FL
Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Status: None Exempt
Reports To: Branch Manager

Your Role at Acousti
As a Warehouse Helper, you will support the efficient daily operations of our warehouse. Working closely with team members, you will lead in loading and unloading materials, organizing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery preparation. Your contributions will help maintain smooth operations, enabling the team to meet project deadlines and exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will:



  • Own the process of organizing, stocking, and maintaining inventory in the warehouse to ensure efficiency and accuracy
  • Support receiving, unloading, and storing of incoming shipments while inspecting items for quality and damage
  • Retrieve, prepare, and stage materials for outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse to promote safety and productivity
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely and responsibly
  • Perform routine checks on inventory to identify discrepancies and report them to the supervisor
  • Follow established processes and guidelines to meet productivity and quality standards
  • Contribute to the overall team effort by communicating effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Provide flexibility to support overtime or additional tasks during peak business periods when required
  • Participate in ongoing training to ensure compliance with company procedures and safety regulations


What We're Looking for in You
To succeed in this role, you should have:



  • Strong work ethic and ability to handle physically demanding tasks
  • Reliability and punctuality in meeting schedules and deadlines
  • Basic communication skills to collaborate with drivers and job site personnel
  • Ability to lift and carry materials up to 70 pounds
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to pass background check - Restricted jobs sites
  • Ability to pass a drug test
  • Ability to drive company vehicle (non CDL but box truck)
  • Delivery of materials to job sites
  • Computer Skills (excel, adobe, word, and outlook)


Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the above, we would prefer candidates with:



  • Experience in warehouse or logistics operations
  • Familiarity with material handling equipment or tools
  • CDL License


Education Requirements
Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent
