The Senior Director of Sourcing and Contracts is responsible for managing the overall contract lifecycle and workflow of supplier agreements, in addition to leading strategic sourcing, negotiation, reporting, and administration of goods and services to address company's purchasing needs. This role is crucial in ensuring the procurement function operates smoothly and effectively, supporting the VP in achieving strategic goals and serving as a back up for the VP as required.

This is a hybrid role in our Newton, MA office.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting strategic initiatives by assisting the VP in developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

  • Partner closely with the Legal/Privacy Team, IT Security, and Senior Management.

  • Interact with the Legal/Privacy Department; Ensure compliance of all related transactions with Bright Horizons Purchasing policies

  • Leverage the contract lifecycle management system to ensure regulatory compliance and optimize administrative efficiency.

  • Lead efforts to understand company-wide requirements, develop and evaluate Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and implement selections.

  • Responsible for the collection of documentation that provides compliance and completeness of Purchase Order requirements and prepares for review by approvers.

  • Manage Conga and Workday's Contracts Module, including updates, implementation of templates/libraries, and change management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is Required

  • Master's Degree - Law Degree or Master's Degree - is Preferred

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in a strategic procurement/contract management area, including a significant amount of that experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain, logistics, and any related activities.

  • 5 years supervisory experience (preferably Contract Management) is Preferred

  • Strong analytical, writing & communication skills

  • Strong work ethic, and the highest levels of professionalism and integrity

Salary and Other Compensation Disclosures:

The annual starting salary for this position is between $130,000 - $140,000 annually along with a 15% bonus plan and long-term incentive compensation awards. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
