2nd Shift Edging Team Leader - Bonduel

We are looking for our next dynamic Team Leader. Could it be you?

KI's Manufacturing Plant in Bonduel is looking for a second shift Team Leader for our High Pressure Laminate (HPL) Edging department.

This individual must be able to effectively

• Be able to direct and lead a team through motivation, team building, and conflict resolution
• Promote, understand and be able to calculate all goal-sharing measures - COQ, on-time shipments, quality, safety, etc.
• Successfully meet all cell based measures; involvement in continuous improvement efforts
• Have a thorough understanding on how to satisfy internal and external customers
• Be a able to direct all operations and staff cell to our standard labor requirements
• Responsible for working with cell specific tools -- this is a working team leader role
• Know how to read shop orders and open orders
• Ability to work on feet for a minimum of 10 hours per day, ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs and have good hand/eye coordination
• Must have above average attention to quality and detail work at a continuous pace
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Assist in Detail and Router/Blanking Team Leader responsibilities in their absence
• Willing to be forklift certified

Our Team Leader positions are "hands on" and report to our Lean Production Manager. Successful candidates will be comfortable training others, using BPCS, and Microsoft Office. A successful candidate must have the ability to lead, delegate, communicate, and participate in Lean projects. Previous training experience is preferred.

This is a second shift position. Hours are primarily 2p-12a with overtime and weekends required during peak production (summer months).

Successful completion of a drug screen will be required.
