Bachelor'sdegreeinBusinessAdministration,Accounting,Finance,AgriculturalEconomics,orarelatedfieldand5-7yearsofrelatedexperienceinlending,creditanalysis,internalreview/regulatorycompliance,orotherexperienceasdeemedequivalentbyCapitalFarmCredit.

JOBSUMMARY

Deliversqualitycustomerservicebyprovidingsupportforregulatory/consumercompliancewithintheAssociation.Reviewsdisclosuresforcoveredtransactions.Stayscurrentonlegalandregulatoryrequirementsandbestpractices.Preparesandmaintainscompliancespolicies,proceduresandprocessesthatstriveforefficientandstreamlinedclosings.Developsandpresentscompliancetrainingforstaff.Respondstoauditorexaminationissuesrelatedtocompliancerelatedprocedures.WorksindependentlyonmattersofsignificancerelatingtothecomplianceoperationsoftheAssociationwhichrequiretheexerciseofdiscretionandindependentjudgment.RegularlyconferswithSVPofCompliance.Followsestablishedproceduresandguidelines,possesses,andappliesanadvancedknowledgeofregulatorycompliance.Demonstratesleadershipandmanagerialskills.Directsupervisionofcomplianceoffers.Assignmentsaremoderatelycomplexinnatureandacertaindegreeofcreativityandlatitudeisrequired.Worksunderminimumsupervision.

  • Ensurescompliancewithregulatoryrequirementsandapplicablepoliciesandproceduresgoverninglendingpractices.
  • UnderdirectionoftheSVPofCompliance,developsandmaintainsCFC'spolicies,procedures,andprocessesrelatedtoregulatorycompliance.
  • Servesasaprimarycontactforbranchstaffregardingcomplianceissuesandresolutions.
  • Developsandprovideslendingcompliancetrainingtostaff.
  • Attendstrainingsasnecessarytostaycurrentwithrespecttotheregulatoryandcomplianceissues.
  • Reviewsfilestotestforadherencetoregulationsandtoconfirmcorrectiveactionshavebeentaken.
  • Communicatetorelevantmembersofseniormanagementanycomplianceconcernsorpatternsofpractice.
  • Respondstofindingsorquestionsbyinternalaudits,creditreviews,orexaminations,consultingwithsupervisor,asnecessary.
  • AssistinreviewinganddeterminingtheappropriateretentionofHMDAdata.
  • Preparenecessaryescrowdisclosures.
  • Reviewscomplianceissueswithmanagement,asnecessary.
