The Site Merchandiser, Product helps grow our online business by analyzing and utilizing merchandising techniques to enhance our web offering. This role strives to ensure the product search and purchasing process showcases our products in the best light, supports customer ambitions and provides information unique to our business. They maintain and administer product online, analyze metrics, and report on performance. What Will You Be Doing?
- Provide leadership and expertise in product catalog management and search optimization to enhance and maintain SanMar.com navigation and search.
- Partner with Merchandising, Studio Ops, and IT Ecommerce to ensure that all web photography is set up and represents the brand accurately and maintained appropriately.
- Maximize our website via product merchandising and analysis of business metrics.
- Update product attributes, keywords and overrides to meet new search standards.
- Identify opportunities and recommend new ideas for site merchandising to enhance offering and affinity.
- Refine and enhance product presentation and web shopping experience.
- Support and manage online promotions and seasonal product launches.
- Define and partner to adopt and report online shopping KPIs.
- Utilize web analytics tools to understand customer behavior and adjust site strategies accordingly.
- Maintain awareness of B2B and B2C desktop and mobile trends and be a thought leader who can act as a key player in the development of new online initiatives.
- Cultivate a data-driven mentality with emphasis on analysis insight and recommend action at both a tactical and strategic level.

What Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in Ecommerce merchandising.
- Deep understanding of search disciplines including navigation, filters, keywords, and override strategies.
- Experience with SEO is preferred.
- Experience within apparel industry is preferred.
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative research is preferred.
- Experience launching and maintaining content on complex large-scale sites including boost rules is preferred.
- Broad knowledge of web and mobile technologies, CMS, CRM, and marketing enterprise applications.
- Strong data analysis and presentation skills, including reporting/BI tools.
- Knowledge of online marketing best practices.
- Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent presentation and writing skills targeted to varied audiences.

What's Our Offer? Salary Range: You`ll earn between $67,725 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience. Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary. Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off. What Should You Expect? Hybrid: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions.
SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required.
