Production Scheduler/Planner

What You Will Do:
We are seeking a Materiel Coordinator to support our manufacturing operations! In this role, you will be responsible for the movement of materials between departments or inter-company locations. This includes creating and releasing records of material movements within the company and ensuring operations follow company and industry regulations. You will also be able to collaborate with other departments across the organization.

This position is located at our Headquarters in Oak Creek, WI. You will report directly to the Supervisor, Production & Materiel Control.

How You Will Do It:

  • Develop and Manage Production Schedules to align with customer demand and company objectives.
  • Monitor Inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, placing purchase requisitions as needed to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent production delays.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, engineering, and sales to synchronize production activities and address any issues during the manufacturing process.
  • Identify production bottlenecks or material shortages that could impede the manufacturing process.
  • Track the production progress, generate routine reports, and address any potential delays or issues.
  • Update production schedules to reflect material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions.

What We Look For:

Required

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a material control-related position.
  • Experience with an ERP/MRP system.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong data access and retrieval skills with experience in data analysis.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities on a regular basis.

Desired

  • A Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or another related business field,
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with IFS ERP/MRP System.
