Environmental Services Manager

This role manages the Environmental Services department operations at SBCH, GVCH,SYVCH and off site locations. Responsible for department budgets, standards, policies, cleanliness and care of patient rooms and hospital public areas. Directs department Supervisors and Leads staff to ensure daily operational expectations are met. Responsible for respective budgets, standards, policies, and cleanliness and care of patient rooms and public areas at all CHS locations. Accountable for customer service.

Develop programs to promote quality performance and staff competencies. Maintains knowledge with current regulatory compliance standards and ensures they are met consistently.

QUALIFICATIONS

All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.

EDUCATION

Preferred: AA, BA or BS

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Preferred: CHESP Certification

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum: Knowledge of cleaning large facilities; EVS regulatory standards and infection prevention guidelines.

Preferred: English/Spanish bilingual skills.

YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum: 3 years supervisory and 1 year housekeeping experience, or 2+ years hospital supervisor experience leading large teams.

Preferred: Previous supervisory experience in environmental services.
