Job Title: PRC Global Coordinator

Position #:00830806 - Requisition #: 35932

Job Summary:

NFP is an evidence-based program of prenatal and early childhood home-visiting by nurses that has been successfully implemented in a range of countries over the last fifteen years, and is currently being delivered in Australia, Canada, Bulgaria, England, Northern Ireland, Norway and Scotland, in addition to the USA where it originated. As an evidence-based licensed program, it is important that countries implement the program with fidelity to the program model, that any necessary adaptations for context are tested for impact and that implementation quality is monitored and continuously improved. A small international team has developed and delivered a successful approach for enabling new countries to gain the expertise necessary to adapt and implement the program in their own setting, as well as a methodology for continuous quality assurance and improvement. The ambition now is to take these processes to a new phase. The global NFP community is made up of many talented, ambitious experts who, building on the current culture of sharing and learning together, will come together in a 'NFP Global Collaborative Network'. A 'Global Collaborative Guidance Group' made up of leaders from all NFP implementing countries will develop the strategy and working practices that will take global NFP into the next phase. Integral to the success of these new plans has been the appointment of a part-time Global NFP Director. The NFP Global Coordinator will provide support to Global NFP Director, the international consultant, and Dr. David Olds, NFP founder. Approximately half of this 0.6 to 0.8 FTE position will be devoted to international work and half will be devoted to supporting Dr. Olds's administrative needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Dr. Olds with administrative tasks including management of his calendar, schedule, and workflow.
  • Attend meetings with Dr. Olds, taking detailed notes and organizing them for his review and reference.
  • Develop communications related to key project activities for stakeholders, community members, and others including visual and written presentations and research summaries such as PowerPoint presentations and infographics.
  • Assist with identifying issues related to operational efficiency and share results with leadership.
  • If qualified, the administrative support could do additional duties related to study administration including:

    • Independently master study materials, including but not limited to protocols, informed consent forms, and all other essential study documents for assigned studies
    • Complete requested literature searches
    • Support IRB protocol preparation, amendments, and continuing reviews
