Title: Blaster/Painter (2^nd Class)

Location: Pascagoula, MS

Job Overview: A Blaster/Painter is responsible for the preparation of metal surfaces for painting.

Qualifications:

• One (1) year of marine blasting and painting or Two (2) years of continuous company experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Paint components, equipment, interiors, and exteriors of the vessels.
• Read and interpret paint specifications and manufacture application instructions.

Skills:

• Well versed in spraying conventional, airless or hand paint systems.
• Able to apply zinc, epoxy, enamel, or other types of surface coatings
• Familiar with Steel Structural Painting Chemical (SSPC) preparation.
• Able to troubleshoot blasting and painting equipment.
• Able to read wet or dry gauges.
