The Opportunity

South Bow is seeking highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving major incidents and applying governance frameworks to ensure efficient and effective resolution of critical issues. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

This individual will have a professional demeanor with the ability to work effectively in an autonomous environment. In addition, you will have the ability to exercise tact and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive information.

What You Will Do
* Major Incident Management: Lead and manage the resolution of major incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
* Governance Application: Implement and maintain governance frameworks to standardize incident management processes and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
* Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analysis of incidents and provide actionable recommendations to prevent recurrence.
* Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders during major incidents, providing timely and accurate updates on the status and resolution of issues.
* Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to incident management and governance to measure the effectiveness of processes and identify areas for improvement.
* Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in incident management and governance.

Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

* 10+ years of relevant experience.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience with incident management tools and software, such as ServiceNow or Jira.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
* Proven experience in incident management and governance within a corporate environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
* Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices
