Compensation $65,000 to $71,000 salary annually range.

*This range reflects Carestream's good faith estimate to pay fairly as starting wage. Offers will be tailored within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process, as well as geographic market differentials for the position.


Position Summary:
Carestream Health is seeking an experienced Import Export Compliance Specialist at its 1049 Ridge Road facility in Rochester, NY 14615 for US transportation. The expectation is Onsite role 60% of the time assigned days with possible flexibility of up to 40% offsite work.
Position Responsibilities:

* Will be directly responsible for Import and Export operations from USA and Canada.

* Provide oversight of US and Canada regulations with regards to the importing and exporting products in and out of US and Canada commerce. Ensure that all import documents provided to US/CA brokerage partner are correct to prevent delays in custom release. Update & maintain the product database, as required, for the US/CA brokerage partner to ensure all HTS codes & country or origins are accurate. Review weekly SAP material master updates and provide information to brokerage partner prior to import of these materials into the US/Canada commerce. Remain current on updates to all US and Canada regulations. CCS(Certified Customs Specialist) & CTCS (Certified Trade Compliance Specialist) requires ongoing training.

* Will oversee monthly wire transfers to brokers.

* Maintain logistics contact withUSagencies for auditing of importsand exports.

* Hybrid 60%/40% in office/WFH. A low percentage of travel may be required.

Required Skills & Education:

* 3+ years' experience with import and export regulations.

* High School Graduate (Bachelor's degree preferred).

* Strong PC and MS Office (Excel, Word) skills.

* Knowledge of US compliance regulations.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong collaboration with cross-functional team and vendors.

* Attention to detail.

Desired Skills:

* SAP system experience.

* FDA experience.

* Certified in Transportation of Dangerous Goods.

* Certified Trade Compliance Specialist designation.

* Knowledge of or previous experience in Canada Import operations.

Work Environment:

Office and some possible travel.
