Reporting to the UC Davis Chief Compliance Officer, the Digital Accessibility Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the information technology accessibility program for the UC Davis campus. This position will lead and oversee digital compliance accessibility projects with campus-wide impact to improve the accessibility of technology resources at UC Davis. The Program Manager will review and understand the legal and policy requirements for digital accessibility and will educate campus constituents about these requirements. The Program Manager is responsible for convening the IT Accessibility Policy Advisory Committee and engaging with relevant campus partners to establish processes to ensure compliance with relevant laws and UC Policy. Provides internal monitoring, and auditing. Ensures alignment with applicable laws. Formulates strategies and administers policies, processes, and resources. Functions as a resource and leader. Ensures alignment with federal and state laws, and University policies and procedures. Provides guidance to other campus partners. Key Responsibilities * 70% - Program Development and Maintenance Department Overview The Compliance & Policy Unit in the Office of the Chancellor has primary responsibility for ensuring campus compliance with Title IX, the Americans with Disabilities Act, laws and policies prohibiting other forms of discrimination and harassment, the Clery Act, affirmative action regulations, privacy laws, and the UC system-wide Whistleblower and Whistleblower Protection policies. The unit oversees and manages campus polices and investigates alleged non-compliance with University policies and state and federal laws. POSITION INFORMATION * Salary or Pay Range: $99,400/yr. - $196,400/yr.
