Job Description: Sun Corridor Network (SCN), as Arizona’s Research and Education Network, is among the country's fastest-growing organizations. The SCN is at the forefront of advancing innovative technologies to address Arizona's most pressing needs, including educators, researchers, and society. The ideal SCN R&E Network Engineer will have a proven track record of technical leadership and success in designing, evaluating, and implementing backbone and last-mile networks for residential, small business, multi-dwelling units, and others, from conception to resolution. Our Network Engineers must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of network engineering, concepts, and best practices, with operational experience in supporting a medium to large-scale service provider (SP) network. As a technical leader, Network Engineers manage diverse stakeholder relationships (with both internal members and external vendors) as SCN continues developing new services and delivering cutting-edge technologies to our members. An interest in working with new technologies and pushing the envelope on existing technology is a must.

Salary: $85,700 - $115,500 per year; DOE

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
