ABOUT THE JOB

The Tepa Companies are seeking a Chief of Operations Engineering / Quality Control Manager to take on a leadership position at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, within the Tehama-HDR JV (THDR) and will supervise one or more staff in the Operations Engineering section of the 72nd Civil Engineer Directorate. This role also includes supervising and administrating the Quality Control Program for the contract. This is a key position in the Civil Engineering Services Engineering Management contract and will report directly to the THDR on-site program manager.

Job Functions:

  • Maintaining and updating all Facility and Infrastructure plans (Five Year Plans).
  • Completing the Maintenance Master Plan/report in FAS approved format.
  • Completing the Predictability Maintenance (PM)/PM Report.
  • Compile the Quarterly Quality Control Report with Performance matrices presenting results of Service Summary Objectives.
  • Maintain and update the Quality Control Plan.
  • Compile and submit monthly Services Summary Reports.
  • Compile and submit the annual Services Summary Assessment Report.
  • Compile and submit monthly Quality Performance Indicator (QPI) Report.
  • Develop and implement procedures to identify, prevent and ensure non-recurrence of defective services.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • At least 5 years of DoD civil engineering/public works experience
  • Be willing to submit to and pass a background check
  • Knowledge of project design and construction
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project Schedule)
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred (not required)

  • Oklahoma state Professional Engineer or Registered Architect license is highly desired.
