Job Location: Delhi, LA Hydro employees can enjoy several benefits including: Medical, Rx, Dental, Disability, Life Insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts Retirement Savings Plans with Company Match/Contributions Education Assistance Bonus Plan Eligibility Parental Leave Starting Rate of Pay: $16.70/hour Shifts Available and Hours: First Shift 7AM - 3PM and Second Shift 3PM-11PM Shift Premium: $1 additional for Second and Third Shift Job Responsibilities: Operate various equipment including mills, punch presses, deburring wheels, benders, saws, specialty machines, turning centers, milling centers, and hand tools. Inspect equipment daily to ensure safety devices are in place and notify the supervisor or foreperson of any safety concerns. Perform basic set-up on equipment. Read and interpret various gauging equipment, including digital calipers, micrometers, protractors, and custom gauges. Visually inspect workpieces before and after machining for defects. Maintain all records of job assignments in a correct and timely manner, on paper and in the computer. Perform quality control checks on the operation in process. Ensure that all scrap and waste material is disposed of properly. Education and Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs.) may be required. Ability to stand on a concrete floor for a minimum of 8 hours/day. Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment for a minimum of 8 hours/day. Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
