Starting Rate of Pay: $16.70/hour
Shifts Available and Hours: First Shift 7AM - 3PM and Second Shift 3PM-11PM
Shift Premium: $1 additional for Second and Third Shift
Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate various equipment including mills, punch presses, deburring wheels, benders, saws, specialty machines, turning centers, milling centers, and hand tools.
  • Inspect equipment daily to ensure safety devices are in place and notify the supervisor or foreperson of any safety concerns.
  • Perform basic set-up on equipment.
  • Read and interpret various gauging equipment, including digital calipers, micrometers, protractors, and custom gauges.
  • Visually inspect workpieces before and after machining for defects.
  • Maintain all records of job assignments in a correct and timely manner, on paper and in the computer.
  • Perform quality control checks on the operation in process.
  • Ensure that all scrap and waste material is disposed of properly.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs.) may be required.
  • Ability to stand on a concrete floor for a minimum of 8 hours/day.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment for a minimum of 8 hours/day.
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
