Provide technical support for applications that serve the business function. Resolve software and system issues to ensure meeting applications service level agreements. Create, design, code, debug, maintain, test, implement and validate code changes to applications to provide break fix resolutions or application stability. Collaborate and communicate with appropriate parties to resolve issues and provide needed communication. Analyze existing applications to formulate logic for new applications to support application's platform tuning and stability. Devise logic procedures to automate tasks to provide application maintenance or performance enhancements. Maintain and utilize application and programming documentation in resolving application issue. Recommend changes in development, maintenance and system standards. Create appropriate deliverables and develop application implementation plans throughout the life cycle.

• Collaborates with business and technology teams to develop basic to moderately complex code for internal and external software solutions to maintain application stability. Designs, creates, and delivers routine to moderately complex program specifications for code development and supports on multiple projects/issues with an advanced understanding of the application and/or area as it relates to assigned projects and how the functional area interacts with other functional areas.
• Performs support for multiple Application platforms including: abend analysis and remediation, service request fulfillment, CICS alerts analysis and assist Operations on batch scheduling anomalies.
• Performs corrective measures for moderately complex code deficiencies and escalates alternative proposals.
• Analyzes, modifies, and develops moderately complex code/unit testing in order to develop concise application documentation. Performs testing and validation requirements for basic to moderately complex code changes. Applies a full understanding of procedures, methodology and application standards to include Payment Card Industry (PCI) security compliance.
• Provides support to leadership for the design, development and enforcement of business/infrastructure application standards to include associated controls, procedures and monitoring to ensure compliance and accuracy of data.
• Assists with on-the-job training and provides guidance to other developers.

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business / Management Information Systems or related field
• Typically minimum of 2 years - Professional Experience In Coding, Designing, Developing And Analyzing Data. Typically has a basic knowledge and use of one or more languages / technologies from the following but not limited to: COBOL and SyncSort

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business / Management Information Systems or related field
• 4+ years professional Experience In Coding, Designing, Developing And Analyzing Data and experience with IBM Rational Tools
• Experience with Assembler programming language. Experience with DB2 and IMS databases

• Job Complexity - Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
• Supervision - Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
• IBM Mainframe System - COBOL, JCL, CICS, SQL, z/OS, DB2, IMS, Assembler, VSAM, XML, TSO/ISPF, MQ
• Hardware Platform - COBOL, SQL
• IT Tools - Easytrieve, REXX, CA-7, Network Data Mover (NDM), IBM Debug tool for z/OS, IBM Fault Analyzer, IBM File Manager, IBM Application Performance Analyzer, Syncsort
• Java, Python, PostgreSQL, Oracle and Airflow knowledge a plus
