Overview

To provide support to Electrical Services by collecting, returning and preparing materials, supplies, tools and equipment used for electrical projects.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates availability of the necessary tools, supplies, equipment and materials, and assists in electrical projects
  • Gathers and places materials and tools
  • Ensures appropriate equipment and supplies are available to complete projects
  • Picks up and delivers supplies when needed
  • Assists with installation, alteration, maintenance and repair of emergency power systems, electrical systems and wide variety of electrical equipment, fixtures, tools, and appliances
  • Performs electrical maintenance tasks such as inspecting, cleaning, repairing and adjusting electrical circuits, switches, switch panels, outlets and heating devices
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of the trade and/or experience working as an electrical apprentice
  • Satisfactory completion of first year classes in the Apprenticeship Program for electricians or formal training equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of the tools, mathematics, codes, materials and safety regulations associated with the electrical trade

Hours: Tuesday - Friday 4AM-2:30PM
