The Office of Clinical Affairs has an immediate opening for a Patient Services Representative to support patient care and student learning. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic and committed to delivering stellar customer service. This talented individual will welcome patients into the school by completing full-service patient processing. The Patient Services Representative is expected to handle multiple tasks at once andmaintain accuracy and professionalism at all times. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, patient check-in, insurance eligibility verification, and financial reconciliation of patient accounts.This person also performs a variety of administrative duties in a dental clinic or practice. Provides assistance to patients and to management. A preferred candidate will have 2-5 years of Dental front office experience using axiUm OR Dentrix. Preferred candidates will be bilingual, fluent in English & Spanish. Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Education: Associate's degree Preferred Experience: 2-5 years working front office in a Dental Clinic. Working knowledge of dental management systems, preferably axiUm or Dentrix. Experience in consumer-side healthcare environment. Bilingual in English & Spanish. Minimum Education: High school or equivalent Minimum Experience: 2 years Minimum Field of Expertise: Experience working in a healthcare environment. Working knowledge of HIPAA compliance and insurance terminology. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal customer service and telephone skills. Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
