Mercy Infusion Center is seeking a full-time (36 hours a week)

Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team.

OVERVIEW:

Assists the physician and office staff with selected duties to include clerical processing, patient preparation, scheduling, lab, x-ray and medical records.

Qualifications:

Medical Assistant:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a physician office. High desire experience in phlebotomy and prior authorizations.

Certified Medical Assistant:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a physician office. High desire experience in phlebotomy and prior authorizations.
