The Business Operations Specialist at our West Union, SC facility will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of monthly and quarterly revenue targets for electricity metering products. This role requires strong collaboration with supply chain, demand planning, and operations teams, acting as the primary delivery point of contact for processes and operations. The ideal candidate will proactively address obstacles, track risks, drive supply chain prioritization, and oversee new product launches and end-of-life transitions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Assurance:
    • Ensure monthly and quarterly revenue targets are met by addressing supply chain and operational challenges.
    • Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue and operations forecast meetings, providing insights and updates.
  • Delivery Coordination:
    • Represent electricity metering products in SOE/SOP meetings to understand demand drivers, identify changes, and drive necessary adjustments.
    • Work with Supply Chain and Demand Planning to manage order adjustments, including pull-ups and push-outs, to meet quarterly revenue goals.
  • Operational Efficiency:
    • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in order and return material authorization (RMA) processes in collaboration with Sales Planning and Production Scheduling.
    • Monitor late deliveries, assess risks, prioritize orders, and ensure alignment with revenue and margin targets.
  • Supply Chain Coordination:
    • Act as the representative for New Product Introduction (NPI) and End of Life (EOL) processes, ensuring market readiness and timely product launches.
    • Manage demand planning overrides and track ramp-down strategies, including allocations, "fire sales," and other liquidation methods.
  • Risk and Opportunity Management:
    • Conduct weekly risk and opportunity assessments, providing input to COO operations reviews, quarterly forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans.
    • Regularly communicate risks and recovery plans to relevant stakeholders.
  • Governance and Prioritization:
    • Oversee production allocations during material shortages or changes, ensuring minimal disruption to revenue targets.
    • Serve as the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) point of contact, ensuring governance processes are followed and timelines met.
  • Custom Reporting:
    • Create and maintain custom reports (e.g., RevVis and S&OP cubes) for specific units, dollars, and customers on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Local Representation:
    • Act as the BizOps representative for all electricity metering items, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operations goals.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years in a customer-facing role and/or proven experience in revenue assurance, operations, or supply chain management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a focus on removing obstacles and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Familiarity with demand planning systems, such as Demantra, and supply chain processes related to NPI and EOL.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Education: Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency with Power BI, Salesforce, and Oracle
