We are looking for a temporary medical record specialist to assist with clean up in our office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate and confidential patient medical records. This role is crucial in ensuring that medical records are updated, securely stored, and readily accessible to authorized personnel.
*Key Responsibilities:* * Review and accurately enter patient medical records into electronic health record (EHR) systems. * Ensure all patient information is complete, accurate, and compliant with healthcare regulations. * Maintain the confidentiality and security of patient records at all times. * Retrieve and deliver medical records to authorized personnel as requested. * Handle requests for medical records from patients, healthcare providers, and other authorized entities. * Conduct regular audits of medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness. * Assist in the preparation and submission of medical record documentation for billing and reimbursement purposes. * Stay current with changes in healthcare regulations and best practices related to medical records management. * Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
