We are seeking a application security intern at one of our offices in Grand Rapids, MI or Atlanta, GA.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $19-23/Hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications: This is What You Will do in This Role:
  • Be involved in the creation of the VAPT report
  • Seeing the vulnerability management lifecycle from beginning to end
  • Be involved in automating security tasks within the CI/CD process
What We are Looking For:
  • Programming expertise in at least one programming language, with the drive to want to learn more
  • Experience in Python, Java, and JavaScript, NodeJS and Angular is an asset
  • Knowledge of OWASP top 10, SANS and CWE top 25 security weaknesses
  • A good foundation in algorithms, design patterns, and data structures
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum software development
  • Familiarity in Encryption, authentication, and authorization technologies is a huge plus
  • Experience in vulnerability scanning testing tools setup and configuration of (Veracode, Qualys, Burp suite, Nessus)
  • Experience in Penetration testing tools setup and configuration of (Nmap, Burp suite, Wireshark)
  • Experience in Linux and Windows setup and configuration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Outstanding ability to work with cross-functional teams to get things done
  • Working toward Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a similar engineering degree with a focus on cybersecurity
