What You'll Do
|
Responsible for processing loan applications and preparing and disbursing loan closing documents in an efficient and timely manner.
- Perform various duties associated with reviewing, processing, and funding Direct and Indirect loan applications.
- Review and analyze loan application documentation to determine loan integrity and validity, of loan applications and packages prior to funding.
- Follow appropriate procedures and guidelines to limit risk exposure . Review exceptions and escalate to supervisors when necessary.
- Book loans to host system and provide timely funding to members and dealer partners. Prepare and disburse thorough and accurate loan closing documents. Follow up on call backs in order to finalize loans.
- Provide timely and accurate information on the Credit Union's loan programs, as well as prompt, courteous, and professional service to members, branch staff, and dealer partners.
- Promptly answer calls presented to the Consumer Loan queues and meet performance expectations including, average handle time, schedule adherence, and calls taken. .
- Achieve monthly sales goals and referrals by identifying members' needs and making appropriate referrals to cultivate a strong membership. .
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Managers(s).

What You'll Need
|
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of related experience preferably in a Financial Institution
- Previous experience working in a Call Center environment preferred
- Ability to read and understand credit bureau reports a plus
