Medical Receptionist - Internal Medicine Midlothian, Virginia Pay From: $18 per hour MUST: Experience Medical Receptionist Must have 2 plus years of experience as a Medical Receptionist Must have experience working with EMR; knowledge of Athena is preferred Must have experience scheduling appointments Must have experience handling data entry Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Must have strong customer service experience DUTIES: Registers new patients with complete and accurate demographics according to procedure Verifies patient's insurance eligibility and benefits at each visit Updates patients' charts so that the information is entered correctly Scans documents into the electronic medical record as directed. Completes work daily to compile missing demographic and insurance information for billing purposes Obtain prior authorizations for care Answer phones taking patient demographic information Other duties as assigned *Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
