Job Description

NetImpact Strategies is seeking a ServiceNow Senior Developer to join our talented IT Services team. This is a 100% remote position. The successful candidate will have fluency in ServiceNow development principles that enables them to work with developers and key stakeholders to develop enterprise business solutions for our customers that leverage ITIL processes and best practices. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the ServiceNow platform and must act with a sense of urgency and adapt to changing priorities. This position requires a full-time commitment.

Responsibilities

    Working with Process Owners to define requirements and create well-written user stories that meet the criteria required to deliver a successful product
  • Analyzing and documenting business processes and systems
  • Facilitating requirements gathering and documenting requirements
  • Preparing client-facing and internal deliverables that are technology-related
  • Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems
  • Transforming functional requirements into detailed technical designs that represent actionable development tasks
  • Applying Agile methodology to elicit requirements and process flows for federal customers using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process reviews, and task and workflow analysis.
  • Performing basic, no to low code configuration of ServiceNow such as catalog items, workflows, form views, choice lists, dashboards, portal, etc.
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow out of the box functionalities.
  • Stay current with latest ServiceNow features and best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.


Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Business related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 3 years of direct experience with ServiceNow products and platform implementations
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certification
  • Ability to transform proven experience as a key technical resource leading the development of solutions in client environments
  • Experience with implementation of Service Now, working with all core ITSM, Security, ITBM, and/or HRSD applications
  • Experience developing and implementing systems using Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Demonstrated experience eliciting requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process reviews, and task and workflow analysis
  • Demonstrated experience critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts, and decomposing high-level information into detailed requirements (e.g., Epics and User Stories)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Training or certification in agile methodologies
  • Must be eligible to meet government eligibility requirements including public trust clearance
  • Must pass a background check and drug test

Preferred

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
  • Previous Federal Consulting Experience
