Business Unit: American Honda Finance Corp Division:Financial Services Division Work Location: American Honda Finance Corp - Cypress, CA Office Career Level:5 Salary Range:$93,600.00-$116,900.00 Job Purpose Assistant Manager, Central Operations, - Customer Accounts EX4 American Honda Finance Corporation (AHFC) is currently seeking an Assistant Manager, Customer Accounts for our Western Service Center, in Cypress CA As the Assistant Manager of Customer Accounts, you provide leadership to a team of supervisors and associates to ensure the smooth operation of AHFC's Customer Accounts department. You play a critical role in the company's management of portfolio risk. You rely on your extensive operational experience to develop collection strategies to achieve financial and operational targets Key Accountabilities * Manage several supervisors directly and 50+ collection rep indirectly * Collaborate with the center management team to support the loss mitigation strategies * Foster AHFC's commitment to Premier Customer Service in all collection transactions * Recruit and train candidates for temporary and Honda positions beginning at the entry level to ensure retention and associate career development * Provide performance management, coaching and counseling to create continuous improvement among associates * Ensure regulatory and operational compliance (internal and external audits, lending and collection regulation (FDCPA), etc.) * Adheres to appropriate Compliance policies and procedures Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Who are we seeking: * Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience in the finance industry is required * Masters or MBA is a plus * 5 years of lending experience required * 3 Years of supervisory experience required * Experience working within a call center environment strongly preferred * Field sales experience is a plus * PC proficient in MS Windows environment (Word, Excel) Other related skills * Excellent interpersonal skills * Excellent written communication skills * Detail oriented * Solid organizational skills and Planning skills Workstyle: Hybrid (3 days in the Cypress office required) Base Grade Salary: $93,600 to $116,900 Pay will be based on several variables that include, but not limited, work experience, education, etc. Job Dimensions Oversee collection strategies and activities over an average portfolio size of $7.5B, with 4K+ delinquent accounts that are 30+ days past due Oversee the handling of a high volume of inbound and outbound collection calls Working Conditions * Annual Bonus * Eligible for Company Car * Lease Car Program * Industry leading Benefit Plans (Medical, Dental, Vision, Rx) * Paid time off, including vacation, paid holidays, sick time, personal days * 401K Plan with company match + additional contribution * Advancement opportunities * Career mobility * Education reimbursement for continued learning The position works in an office environment with open cubicle seating May work remotely as business needs dictate Occasional local or overnight travel may be required Honda is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected factor.
