Responsibilities:



  • Establish standards and guidelines for new and existing vendors.
  • Analyze data quality process flows and processes for scalability and transition.
  • Prepare software license source data for computer entry by validating eligibility for license upgrade programs.
  • Work with product management to define requirements for customer installed base updates.
  • Research and resolve product database inquiries from internal and external customers.
  • Compile and analyze Data Quality performance metrics.
  • Design and perform regression testing for Oracle Installed Base IT updates.
  • Assist in developing and reporting operational reporting metrics for the Shared Services Team.
  • Perform a variety of root cause analysis across the Shard Services Team.
  • Collaborate with business partners outside of the Shared Services Team to ensure compliance with the Company's Internal Policies.
  • Ability to develop relationships across the organization, influence other teams and design collaborations to drive results and improve process efficiency within the Shared Services organization.
  • Support the Shared Services team in the monthly close process including journal entry preparation, accounting support, balance sheet reconciliations and operational reporting as required.
  • Work with the Shared Services Finance Managers to drive operational excellence across all supporting business processes.
  • Execute internal control procedures and advise on creating more efficient design relating to the Shared Services organization.
  • Identify issues, propose and drive forward solutions on new and existing operational reporting.
  • Partner with IT for system solutioning for the rollout of the Business Intelligence reporting tool.
  • Prepare various ad hoc reports and other special projects for management as requested.
  • Participate in the internal controls and annual audit with the external Audit firms.


Basic Qualifications/Skills:



  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required
  • 3 years of related financial and/or accounting experience in the technology industry
  • Large ERP experience, Oracle preferred.
  • Previous software industry/public company experience preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, & strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to work well within deadlines
  • Team player, able to step in and help other members of the team when needed
  • An inquisitive nature, someone who wants to explore variances and understand the root cause
  • A self-starter who works effectively in a complex, changing environment and can adapt to change while focusing on key goals and objectives
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to proactively anticipate and resolve potential issues
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel and Word.
  • Flexible, organized and able to handle competing priorities.
