Position Title: Systems Migration Engineer (Contingent Upon Award) Location: Hybrid (with periodic support to the DC office location) Clearance Requirement: Public Trust with MBI. US citizenship is required. ________________________________________ Position Overview: Impyrian is seeking a highly skilled Systems Migration Engineer to support critical IT and system migration initiatives for a government client. This position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance database environments, develop scripts and applications for system integration, ensure compliance with Section 508 standards, and provide technical solutions to support customer mission functions. The role will require expertise in IT security, database management, application development, and tool automation. This position is contingent upon contract award, and selected candidates will be asked to sign a letter of commitment. ________________________________________ Key Areas of Responsibility: * Database Administration and Management: o Create and maintain Oracle and other database schemas, tables, configurations, and permissions. o Allocate system resources and provision access rights to customer databases. o Develop SQL scripts and database access programs to facilitate data inquiries and processing requests. o Ensure database operations are conducted in accordance with production schedules and organizational standards. * Application and Tools Support: o Support approximately 30-35 Microsoft and Oracle applications (custom and COTS) and databases o Collaborate with customers to develop custom views and applications tailored to mission-specific functions. * Application Development and Integration: o Support government executives and application leads within the Division of Security and Technology. * Section 508 Compliance: o Develop, update, and maintain Section 508 compliance processes and documentation based on industry best practices and federal standards. o Collaborate with business analysts and developers to translate functional requirements into test cases and ensure accessibility standards are met. * Testing and Quality Assurance: o Perform full cycles of sprint, regression, and integration testing, generating test summary reports to track progress and results. ________________________________________ Qualifications: * Educational Background: o Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Management (IM), Information Technology, or a related field. o Minimum 10 years of technical IT experience, with expertise in database management, application development, and system integration. * Technical Expertise: o Proficiency in Oracle databases, SQL, Java, XML, and tools for financial system integration. o Experience with Section 508 compliance processes and tools, including JAWS and WAVE. o Hands-on experience with Tableau administration and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) using UiPath. * Preferred Skills: o Experience managing small user populations with critical functions. o Familiarity with Microsoft and Oracle applications critical to operations. ________________________________________ Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and participating in meetings.
